Suzanne Barrow, MCPAT, RCC
Registered Clinical Counsellor (BC)
Suzanne is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia and an Art Therapist who works with children and families navigating high-demand sensitivity, strong nervous system responses, and complex relational dynamics. Her approach is creative, relational, and grounded in somatic, trauma-informed practice, with strong respect for autonomy, consent, and individual pacing. She is particularly attuned to children who resist traditional expectations or require flexible, non-linear pathways into connection and support.
Suzanne supports families in understanding behaviour through nervous system experience rather than compliance or control, focusing on trust, reduced pressure, and collaboration. Alongside her clinical work, she brings lived experience raising four children in a neurodivergent household. Her work is grounded in dignity, shared power, and the belief that safety and connection support meaningful change.
