Funding & Insurance
Using Benefits & Autism Funding at NeuroKids Canada
Many families are able to use extended health benefits and/or autism funding to help cover services or a portion of services at NeuroKids Canada.
Coverage varies by plan and funding program. Contact our care team to discuss your options.

Extended Health Benefits
Many extended health benefit plans provide coverage for the following professionals:
-
Naturopathic Doctor (ND)
-
Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)
Families pay for services upfront and submit invoices that are provided by our office, directly to their insurance provider for reimbursement, according to their individual plan.

We recommend confirming coverage details directly with your insurer, as plans vary widely. Because our practitioners are based in BC, we recommend you confirm with your insurance providers, the details of your coverage if you reside out of province.

Autism Funding (British Columbia)
Some families in British Columbia use autism funding to support services such as:
-
Behaviour consulting
-
Feeding support
-
Parent coaching
-
Counselling services
NeuroKids Canada is currently compiling a waitlist to access BC Autism Funding for our services. Please contact our care team to discuss your eligibility and to be placed on the waitlist.

Approval and reimbursement are determined by the funding program, not by NeuroKids Canada. Parents agree they are responsible to cover any fees not covered by Autism Funding and are required to keep a valid credit card on file

How Funding Typically Works
-
You book services with NeuroKids Canada
-
You receive an invoice and receipt
-
You submit documentation to your insurer or we submit for you to autism funding
-
Reimbursement from extended benefits is processed according to your plan
